How to solve the problem of small flow rate of faucet

How to solve the problem of small flow rate of home faucet?
The water flow is based on the water pressure. The water pressure used at home is generally 0.25MPa, and the hourly flow is about 1.3m3. But the flow of the bath faucet should be greater than this value.

Here are the possible causes and solutions for the small water output of the faucet.

1. Water quality problem. The tap is blocked due to sand, rust and other impurities in the water.

Solution: the faucet aerator can be unscrewed for inspection. The faucet should be washed inside when the faucet aerator is unscrewed. At the same time, wash the aerator insert, and then install it to check whether the normal water output is restored. If the water output is still small, eliminate this cause and check the next possible situation.

2. The water outlet of the faucet is bifurcated or the water volume is small, and there is no bubble phenomenon.
Solution: it may be the fouling of the faucet aerator insert or the blockage of sundries. Remove the faucet aerator insert and clean the insert. Tap the insert gently in the pool, and the solid impurities such as sand and other large particles will fall naturally. Remember not to pick it with your hands. Instead, you will press the sand into the filter net and catch it. In order to ensure that it can be cleaned in place, the aerator insert and gasket can be removed and flushed, and the dirt in the middle of the filter screen hole can also be pierced with a needle tip. Reinstall them after cleaning.

If the aerator insert is too blocked to be cleaned, you can buy a new set in an outside store and replace the old one. The kitchen faucet and basin faucet of general size are M24x1, the bathtub faucet is M28x1, and the aerator housing, insert and gasket are called as a complete set. However, with the diversification of faucet styles, there are also built-in aerator. You can take the removed aerator to buy a new one to avoid being unable to install it by mistake.

 3. The water output of basin faucet and kitchen faucet is small and does not bubble.
Solution: check the flexible hoses connection of the faucet. In order to prevent sand from entering, some faucets install a filter at the G1/2 end of the hoses (some foreign market specifications are F3/8) and then install it on the angle valve, which may intercept a lot of debris and cause blockage.

4. Concealed faucet has small water output.

Solution: check whether the filter is blocked at the shower pipe joint, and whether there is sand or other foreign matters blocking the hand-held shower and top big shower head, which may cause small water flow rate.

5. The water output of shower faucet or bathtub faucet is small.

Solution: in addition to checking the aerator of the bathtub faucet, it is also necessary to check whether the hand-held shower is blocked by foreign matters such as sand, which may cause small water volume. In addition, the two hexagon caps or S-connection joints of the wall shower faucet and the wall mounted bathtub faucet are also equipped with filter to reduce the noise of water flow. It is also necessary to check if it is blocked.

6. Check whether the main valve at home has been inadvertently reduced.

Solution: readjust the flow of the main valve according to your needs.

7. If there is no filter at the braided flexible hoses, the faucet aerator is not blocked, and the water pressure at home is normal, there is another possibility that the filter of the faucet cartridge is blocked.

Solution: at present, in order to reduce the noise generated by the water flow during the use of the faucet, there is a new faucet cartridge in the market with filter, we called noise reduce cartridge. At present, not all faucets on the market are equipped with this kind of cartridge, just saying that this is also a possibility that may cause small water flow.
